 Mr. Aasim Malik, FRCS, a graduate of King Edward Medical College & fellow of Royal College of Surgeons is an Associate Professor of Surgery & incharge of Minimal Invasive Surgery Unit at ADVANCE SURGICARE.
Mr.Malik’s field of interest is Advance Laparoscopic & Thoracoscopic Surgery and Vascular Surgery. After graduation Mr. Malik worked both here in Pakistan & United Kingdom in different capacities with many big names. This helped him immensely in gaining skill & experience in the above mentioned area of expertise.
At present the minimal invasive surgery unit at ADVANCE SURGICARE is providing services inclusive of laparoscopic digestive (upper & lower GI) & hepato-billiary surgery. Another addition to this is Surgery for MORBID OBESITY & DIBETES MELLITUS (duodenal switch with gastric sleeve resection). The vascular surgery component deals with dilatory & occlusive peripheral arterial disease.
Mr. Malik is member of SAGES & IAGES. He has done advance laparoscopic surgery courses from Mattu (UK), Strasbourg (FRANCE), Saigon (VIETNAM) besides attending numerous hands on workshops in Pakistan & India. He holds a diploma in minimal invasive surgery & has got numerous publications & surgical presentations to his credit.
